Professor Emily L. Lindsay, CPA, MSA
Accounting Club Adviser
Professor Lindsay is an Executive in Residence in the Accounting Department and a sponsor of multiple campus organizations. She teaches undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in financial accounting, management accounting, and accounting theory. Professor Lindsay is an active CPA and earned her MSA at Kogod. She is active in a number of professional associations, is and serves on a national advisory committee to the IRS on information reporting. Prior to teaching at AU, Professor Lindsay was Vice President, Corporate Accounting Services, at Marriott International, and worked as an auditor with the US Government Accountability Office.
Professo Sheila Bedford, CPA, MBA
Accounting Club Adviser
Professor Bedford teaches financial accounting, managerial and intermediate accounting, corporate financial reporting and financial statement analysis at the undergraduate and graduate level. She has extensive industry accounting experience in the real estate business, and served in senior financial management roles with Marriott International and as the controller for The Golf Academy LLC. Her responsibilities in industry have included financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning and budgeting, implementation of accounting policies and controls, and the valuation of acquisition opportunities and financing programs. She began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Whinney. Professor Bedford is currently serving as the Chair of University Committee on Learning Assessment and as a member of Faculty Senate. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rachel Fogg is currently studying in Bachelors in Accounting with a Minor in Finance. She is interested in accounting and finance and has interned in audit at Aronson in Rockville, Maryland as well as at PwC in New York City. She is excited to be in this role to plan and execute great networking events for the students in Kogod.
Jordan is a senior majoring in accounting and minoring in finance. She has worked in restaurants, car sales, and has had internships in accounting. Many people refer to her as "the girl with the dog" and she will gladly show you pictures of that dog if you ask nicely.

Timothy is currently working towards his Bachelors in the Accounting program in Kogod. In the Spring semester he is going to be entering the masters program at Kogod. Because of his work towards his Masters Degree, he has not had any internships to date, but he has done the Raffa Externship in the summer of 2017. He has been in the accounting program since entering Kogod, and has been a member of the Kogod Accounting Club for three years. When he graduates with his masters degree from Kogod, he wishes to enter an accounting firm and get his CPA.
